Walls, Windows, & Canvas.
Mural an Art Comissions.
Hello and welcome to KohnArtist LLC.
My name is Allison Kohn Marriner.
This online portfolio represents murals and commissions I have done. As well as some of my favorites. I paint murals, acrylic/oil on canvas painting commissions, and my own personal creations with various materials. I paint everything from highly detailed imagery on the sides of entire buildings to fun creations that excite the imagination in a child’s room. I have recently started a mural that glows in black light. This technique would look amazing in theaters, game rooms, and bars. I can create a variety of styles from traditional to whimsical, to contemporary. I will work with you to find a style that fits your interests and budget.
Fitting a budget may include simplifying a design and/ or reducing square footage.
Pricing can depend on many variables
Size of the project
Cost of materials
Level of detail/shading required
If scaffolding is needed
Murals range from $18-$25 per square foot
I provide bulk pricing for large projects.
Commission painting is priced on an individual basis
WHY?
As humans we experience much of the world around us through our eyes. Images and colors can have a lasting impact. You can create ambiance for your business or home. Solidify branding and bring attention to your business with exterior and interior murals. Creative art will also deter graffiti and tagging. Letting you choose the imagery on your walls. Whether you would like a piece for ambiance, enjoyment, to discourage tagging, or just because it is awesome, I can create it for you.
ABOUT
My name is Allison Kohn Marriner. I grew up outside of Portland Oregon. In what at the time was a small town called Sherwood. The Pacific Northwest, especially Mt Hood is a large part of who I am today. I attended the Art Institute of and then transferred to PNCA to study painting. I started painting murals during art school in 2002. I found myself restless and looking for something different. In 2003 I left for Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, Colorado. I craved the mountains of Colorado and to experience the ski/snowboard industry lifestyle. There I started my career as a Snowcat Operator. Something that I still do to this day on Mt Hood. For the 16 years I lived in Colorado I continued to do murals, painting commissions, and had many local showings of my own creations. In 2018 I had the amazing experience of being a part of the snowcat crew that built the 2018 Winter Olympic Alpine Speed Course in South Korea. After that adventure, I came back home to the USA I made the move back to the PNW. In 2019 the opportunity to pursue my art full time presented itself and I have not looked back.
